About Me

I first developed an interest in psychiatry while working towards my undergraduate nursing degree. In my 10 years as a nurse, working in various settings throughout the community, I recognized the need for more mental health providers and services. I believe there is a strong connection between mind, body, and spirit; therefore, my approach to recovery and healing is individualized, evidence-based and holistic. I believe medication can be a tool to help achieve wellness, in addition to maintaining proper nutrition, adequate sleep, regular physical activity, mindfulness and engaging in meaningful relationships. 

In my spare time, I enjoy playing card games with my family, traveling, fly fishing, going to hockey games, working out and discovering new hobbies. I look forward to providing mental health services in my community and am excited to be a part of the team at LMHW.
